ASIC & Vic Pass Requirements

It is a requirement under the Regulations that all persons accessing this airside must have a valid ASIC, or be a passenger under escort of a pilot holding an ASIC, or have a Visitor Identification Card (VIC) and be under escort by an ASIC holder.

 

ASIC Application

All persons accessing airside must have a valid ASIC.  ASIC cards are issued by Aviation ID Australia. To apply for an ASIC, please click on the following link:

Visitors Pass

Visitor passes allow access under escort by an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) holder into our Security Restricted area. A valid reason is also required. If you are issued a Visitor's pass, you must be under escort at all times while in the Security Restricted Area.

Contractor Inductions must be completed before applying for a Visitor Pass (unless otherwise organised with Essendon Fields).

Visitor Pass Online Application Form

If you require a Visitor Pass, please complete the application form below. 

All sections must be filled in completely.  A Visitor Pass cannot be printed if all details have not been completed.

All contractors must complete the online Contractor Induction prior to applying for a Visitor Pass.  This can be found under the "Planning & Environment" tab.  Your Contractor Induction number will need to be added to the Vic pass application below.

If a contractor has not completed the Contractor Induction and does not present the Completion Certificate when applying for a Visitor Pass - a Visitor Pass will not be issued.

If a Visitor Pass is required for more than 3 days – applicant must have photo taken at Essendon Fields Reception, EF HQ -  Level 2, 7 English Street.

A Visitor Pass can only be issued for a maximum of 28 days (including weekends) for a period of 12 months with no extensions given.  If you require a Visitor Pass for longer, you will need to apply for an ASIC through Aviation ID Australia (details above).

A Visitor Pass cannot be issued prior to date of commencement.  The pass must be picked up on the date it is required from.

All online application forms will be printed out by EAPL - the applicant must sign the form when picking up Visitor Pass.

Once applicant has completed the online Visitor pass application form, the pass will be processed by Reception.  Once form is received, applicant will be contacted by Reception to confirm pick up times, requirements for photo to be taken at pick up (where necessary), etc. 

ALL APPLICANTS MUST WAIT TO BE CONTACTED BY RECEPTION BEFORE COMING IN TO PICK UP THE VISITOR PASS.

All Visitor passes must be returned to EF HQ - Level 2 / 7 English Street, Essendon Fields - on completion of use.

Please note :  Each time a Visitor pass is required, applicant must apply using online form below (regardless of having a pass previously).

Vic Pass must be picked up by APPLICANT ONLY - with presentation of photo ID and Contractor Induction Card (where applicable).

Hours for Vic Pass pick ups (from EF HQ)

Monday to Friday - between 9.30 am - 12.00 pm &

between 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm

Each Visitor Pass costs $22 (inclusive of GST) per pass, payable on collection of pass. Payments are able to be made by cash or credit card.
