The Linfox Group and Beck Corporation acquired Essendon Airport from the Australian Government in September 2001. The new owners have established a Master Plan for Essendon Airport, which will re-establish the property as a vibrant commercial and aviation facility.
Allocated into five property developments and two aviation precincts, Essendon Airport is well underway to being transformed into a new business park, specializing in office, commercial and warehousing activities, whilst retaining a heavy emphasis on aviation services.
All commercial developments undertaken around the airport are coordinated by Essendon Fields.
