New Aircraft Hangars at Essendon Airport
Four new hangars are being constructed at Essendon Airport to accommodate the growing number of corporate jet operators.
Each hangar is 2,800 square meters and is capable of accommodating two Bombardier Global Express business jets. These are the first hangars built at Essendon for many years.
The first two hangars were completed in mid April 2007.
